Privacy Policy — Accommodated

Introduction

Accommodated ("we", "us", "our") is developed by Cocoacorn. This privacy policy explains how the Accommodated app handles your data.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any data. Accommodated has no user accounts, no analytics services, no tracking domains, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. Cocoacorn operates no servers and does not receive, read, store, review, or process Accommodated records.

Data Stored on Your Device

Accommodated stores the following data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• Profile details you enter, including jurisdiction, workplace context, conditions, symptoms, limitations, and disclosure assessments
• Accommodation ideas, selected accommodations, personal accommodation catalogue entries, and request wording
• Request letters, drafts, statuses, sent dates, outcomes, and formal deadline dates
• Conversation timeline entries, contact names, roles, methods, outcomes, notes, and attachments
• Return-to-work plans, planned hours, actual hours, accommodations per phase, and review notes
• Access to Work draft answers, submission tracking, reference numbers, and complaint drafts
• Notification settings and pending local reminder identifiers
• Backup settings, app preferences, and local app state
• Attachments such as images, PDFs, documents, or notes you add as evidence

This data stays on your device unless you enable iCloud sync in your personal Apple account.

How Data Can Leave Your Device

Data can leave your device only through user-controlled or Apple-controlled paths:

• You enable iCloud sync, which uses your personal iCloud account and Apple CloudKit
• You create or share a backup file
• You export a PDF letter, evidence pack, disclosure worksheet, Access to Work draft, or complaint letter
• You export readable CSV files
• You send generated text through email, messages, files, or another system share action
• You receive a local notification scheduled on your device
• You complete a StoreKit purchase through Apple

The developer does not receive, read, store, review, or process Accommodated records.

iCloud Sync

iCloud sync is optional. If you turn it on, your Accommodated data syncs through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. The developer cannot read or recover your iCloud data.

Disabling iCloud sync stops new app writes from using CloudKit, but it does not necessarily delete data already stored in iCloud.

Notifications

Accommodated can schedule local reminders for request follow-ups and saved formal deadline windows. Nothing is scheduled automatically without user action. Notifications are handled by iOS on your device; the developer does not receive notification data.

In-App Purchases

Accommodated offers optional Accommodated+ features via in-app purchase, processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information. Purchase records are managed by Apple in your Apple ID account. Restore Purchases is available in the app.

Backup and Restore

Accommodated can create backup files for your own safekeeping as a .accommodatedbackup archive. Backup files and exported documents may contain sensitive employment and health-adjacent information, so store and share them carefully. Backup files are not encrypted by Accommodated — you are responsible for the security of backup files you export or share. Automatic backup to iCloud Drive can be enabled in settings. Separately created backup files must be deleted from Files, iCloud Drive, or wherever you stored them.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time from the app's data settings. This permanently removes your records from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, data is also removed from your iCloud account.

Children's Privacy

Accommodated does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not collect any data from any user.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at the URL shown in the App Store listing and reflected in the app.
