Description of Service

Supported is a companion app for carers and family members of people with chronic illness. It provides a multi-person dashboard, a private care log, daily observations, carer wellbeing tracking with burnout detection, condition-specific guidance, communication tools, live current-need reception from paired patient apps, and Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Apple Watch surfaces. It is available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

Not Medical Advice

Supported is a carer companion, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

Condition guides, flare protocols, burnout insights, and communication suggestions are based on general carer guidance and self-reported data. They are not clinically validated and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice.

Your Data

You own your data. Supported stores your care log, wellbeing entries, observations, and people locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not access, collect, or process your data.

You can export your data as CSV, create PDF reports, create ZIP backups, or delete all data at any time.

Patient Data

Data shared with you from Tended, Metered, or Tolerated belongs to the patient. They control what is shared and can revoke access at any time. You may share patient information onward (for example emergency info to a school or employer) using the in-app sharing features, but you are responsible for doing so appropriately.

Premium badges shown on a person's detail page reflect the patient's own subscription status in their tracker app and are purely informational. Supported has no premium tier of its own and never gates features on the patient's subscriptions.

Intellectual Property

Supported, its design, and its content are owned by Cocoacorn. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app.

Limitation of Liability

Supported is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cocoacorn shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data.

We strongly recommend maintaining backups of important care records through the in-app backup feature or other means.

Termination

We may discontinue Supported at any time. If we do, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
